As featured in British Vogue, ELLE Hong Kong, Sassy Hong Kong and London Accessory Week, Splitting Colours Jewellery is an independent jewellery brand based in Hong Kong focusing on all-occasion fine jewellery using natural bicolour gemstones. 

Established in 2021, Splitting Colours Jewellery’s signature designs centre around gem-grade bicolour tourmalines (寶石級雙色碧璽) with varied combination of natural colours and levels of colour intensity.

Splitting Colours Jewellery caters to individuals who value designs that are effortlessly stylish and authentically them. They have seen trends, understood mainstream, but decided on what truly resonate with them.

Our Founder

Meet Ms. Vincee Yip, Our Founder

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Vincee graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Mathematics and Statistics.

Prior to her professional pursuit of gemmology and the founding of Splitting Colours Jewellery, Vincee had spent over a decade in quantitative marketing research.

Having resided in San Francisco Bay Area, Hong Kong, Frankfurt and Shanghai, Vincee loves travel and enjoys the outdoors. She has trekked and hiked in Nepal, Bhutan, Peru and Australia, chased the Northern Lights in Tromsø, visited Uyuni in Bolivia, camped in a yurt in Inner Mongolia, feasted on alpacas and cuys in Cusco City, swam with the pigs in Exuma, gone island-hopping by bike around Seto Inland Sea, snowboarding in Hokkaido, walked around Central Havana, attended weddings in Mumbai and New Delhi, experienced Amsterdam, listened to the sea breeze in coastal Croatia, caught the sunrise in a hot air balloon ride in Luxor, got married in a chapel over the waters…. Vincee is also a PADI-certified Advanced Open Water scuba diver…

Currently, Vincee is primarily responsible for product and brand development for Splitting Colours Jewellery. She is the dedicated curator of every single gemstone in our stores and the hearts and mind behind every bespoke and creative project entrusted to her by our clients.
